ArcMx offers a comprehensive software for the predictive care and streamlined management of multimorbidity patients.
Long-term conditions affect 1 in 3 individuals and are rapidly increasing year-on-year - the presence of 2 or more long-term conditions within a patient, i.e. 'multimorbidity', is particularly difficult to manage. Today, just 30% of the population account for 70% of the NHS Health & Social Care budget, driven by compounding pressures from multimorbidities that impact GP consultation wait times, polypharmacy levels, and longer inpatient bed days. Long-term conditions are still largely viewed in unhelpful siloes, and organisations such as NICE and the WHO are calling for actionable solutions.
Our multimorbidity-focused software has been developed with the support of AstraZeneca, The Eastern Academic Health Science Network and Health Tech Enterprise. Trials show a reduction in admin hours for practice staff, fewer instances of 'doubling up' of blood tests, and a workload shift away from GPs, all of which result in valuable time and costs saved for our partners. We are currently supporting in the management of approximately 50,000 patients across 4 NHS GP practices.
We aim to change the landscape of multimorbidity management in the NHS & global healthcare systems, and ultimately enable healthcare staff to take a more proactive approach towards shaping a healthier and more caring future.
