Our Story
Founded in 2003, the Asian American Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) is a national nonprofit trade organization dedicated to improving the lives of the Asian American Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community through real estate. AREAA Charlotte Metro chapter was founded in 2021 by Rachel Chen and a group of professionals who saw the growing need for advocacy for the real estate ownership rights of the AANHPI community in the Charlotte Metro area and in the Carolinas.

AREAA is dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities in Asian American communities by creating a powerful national voice for housing and real estate professionals that serve this dynamic market.
