The association, born in July 1990, took its current acronym in 1997 by becoming the Association for the Influence of the International Museum of Perfumery with, as for successive presidents: Mr. Henri SOZIO, Mr. Ivan COSTE, Mrs. Thérèse ROUDNITSDKA, Mr. Jean-Claude ELLENA and Mr. Jacques CAVALLIER-BELLETRUD.
The A.R.M.I.P. is made up of perfumery professionals, companies and individuals who put their skills, know-how and relationships at the service of the museum.
Both an actor and a partner of the museum, the A.R.M.I.P. is present in many areas:
– Enrichment of collections,
– Participation in exhibitions,
– Conferences as part of the "Jeudis du MIP",
– Digital creation competition, Prix de l'Odeur,
– Cultural outings.
The A.R.M.I.P., in particular through sponsorship, contributes to the enrichment of the M.I.P.'s collections through the acquisition of objects: bottles, books, advertising posters. It is also involved in the improvement of the museum's facilities: lighting, purchase of furniture and technical equipment.
