Launched in 2006 as Aromatika, Apothespa is now one of the leading truly authentic organic and natural skincare manufacturers in the UK. Our pure plant skin care products are made by hand in relatively small batches and have been formulated using a combination of modern scientific knowledge and the powerful plant lore used traditionally by our ancestors. Science continues to confirm that natural ingredients such as aromatherapy oils, vegetable oils and butters offer a viable natural alternative for nourishing your skin and maintaining a natural, radiant beauty. Our products are SLS and parabens free and not tested on animals and several of our products are registered with the Vegan Society. Apothespa was set up initially as a small home based business in 2006 by qualified aromatherapist Lisa Hosking. Lisa is passionate about skin care and has been making products since 2004 after attending various workshops whilst living in Australia. Apothespa is going from strength to strength, and we now are a team of ladies split across Apothespa , The Beauty Rooms (our treatment rooms in Totnes and Honiton) and our new sister company The Devon Soap Company. We also supply a number of valued clients throughout the UK and Europe with either Apothespa , Devon Soap or privately labelled products.
