Art Lab Rx provides workplace wellness workshops for corporations and art therapy services in the Twin Cities area. We Go To You or You Come to Us. Art Lab Rx Executive Director Lisa Lounsbury is a Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Lisa combined her passion for art as a trained classical realism artist and her desire to help people when creating Art lab Rx in 2015. Lisa transformed Art Lab Rx into a mobile art studio named Maggie, bringing wellness workshops and art therapy to all. Maggie has eight handicap accessible workstations filled with a variety of art materials. There is room for independent personal creation, as well as guided help from the Art Lab Rx trained professionals. Art Lab Rx also offers workshops and sessions in Spanish! Society is paying attention to overall health, now more than ever. Our wellness workshops allow us to work with companies, organizations and groups to provide a creative experience that increases productivity, problem solving and job satisfaction. It also builds community and a better sense of engagement within a team. To transform is to dramatically change from the inside out. Art Lab Rx builds customized sessions to help people creatively communicate what’s inside through an outward expression of art.
