Founded in 2019 by U.S. veteran, social entrepreneur and former inmate, Buck Adams, Art for Redemption was created through collaboration with Defy Colorado, a nonprofit organization preparing currently incarcerated individuals for successful careers upon release through both traditional career paths and entrepreneurship. Defy Colorado’s network of support empowered Adams with the resources to launch Art for Redemption, an Etsy-like platform that enables inmates to share their creations and contributing to society.
