The Company was founded in 1964 under its former name, PT Maskapai Asuransi Tjahjana it’s located at jln. Mangga Besar Raya no. 104, Jakarta 10740, it is now being used a branch office. PT Maskapai Asuransi Tjahjana began opening it’s first branch in Surabaya and was soon followed by another branch in Bandung on the same year.
On September 20th 1995, PT Maskapai Asuransi Tjahjana was acquired by Artha Graha Group and changed its name to PT Arthagraha General Insurance. it’s main office moved to 3rd floor of Artha Graha building located in kawasan Niaga Terpadu (SCBD). PT Arthagraha General Insurance was also named the official insurance company for the SEA GAMES XIX.
The third branch of PT Arthagraha, located in Medan, opened on July 28th 2010. On October 11th of the same year, fourth branch office located in Pontianak was opened as well. The fifth branch of PT Arthagraha General Insurance, located in Pekanbaru, opened on April 4th 2011. Both branch offices in Makassar and Samarinda opened on September 16th and October 1st of 2013 respectively. PT. Arthagraha General Insurance opened it’s eighth branch office in Manado on April 15th 2015.
