Arvind Foundation, a charitable organization for children with special needs, (a registered Non-Profit Organization) founded in 2004 to provide soul care for children with special needs from underprivileged backgrounds through curative education and healing care. The care extends to adolescents and adults with special needs too.
Our Curative Educational structure is based on “Waldorf” curriculum, which helps children to acquire basic education in a stress-free manner and to provide practical hands-on training and experience which would eventually earn them their livelihood.
At our Vocational centers, we inculcate necessary skill sets through creative and stress-free activities and projects to engage our young adults in a productive manner. Job oriented courses like teaching of basics in Computer science, cooking and culinary arts, office assistance training, making of areca nut products, handling and carving woods to make key chains, making of 15 different masala spice powders etc. are taught with utmost care.
This holistic approach is aimed at fostering independence, providing vocational training and creating livelihood opportunities for our special needs individuals.
