AsBuilt introduced distributed IP Fire Alarm technology to the industry in 2007 and remains the world's only true manufacturer/supplier of IP based Fire protection systems.
Distributed IP based SLC's, NAC circuits, Annunciators and Displays work together over an Ethernet network to form the Fire System. Intelligence and processing are distributed at the module level, eliminating the central-point-of-failure inherent with older control-panel based technology. This distributed topology over Ethernet connections drastically improves system reliability, eliminates system down-time, eliminates costly wiring home-runs and eliminates the high cost inherent with the proprietary networks employed with older systems.
Because our system is modular, it is completely scalable to any application. From 1 to 100 SLC's with up to 100 3A NAC circuits, the IP Fire Series is appropriate for any application from the smallest to largest of jobs. It is especially suited for applications where the potential for future expansion must be considered up front. All that is necessary for expansion is an Ethernet connection.
