The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE), founded in 1894, is an international organization of some 50,000 persons. ASHRAE fulfills its mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education.
North Piedmont is one of the seven Chapters located in Region IV (NC, SC, and GA) of ASHRAE. Headquartered in Greensboro, NC, and centrally located in what is known as the Piedmont "Triad", we serve area members in the greater Greensboro, High Point, and Winston Salem areas. Our members include local equipment vendors, licensed engineers, mechanical contractors,facility owners, and students. We have historically been one of the strongest ASHRAE Chapters in Region IV and are continually seeking to evolve and grow our membership!!
