Asia in Focus is an open access peer-reviewed journal published online twice a year by the Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies, Lund University. The journal covers research on contemporary Asian societies in social sciences and humanities, with a geographical focus is Central Asia to Oceania excluding Australia and New Zealand.
Asia in Focus was initiated to provide Masters and PhD students with a widely accessible and transnational forum to publish their findings. The journal accepts submissions (academic articles, academic essays, book reviews) from students affiliated with or recently affiliated with a Nordic institution of higher education.
We publish high-quality academic manuscripts that are written in a concise, focused, and readable form.
