Asiola is Thailand's leading crowdfunding platform. Focused on challenging traditional fundraising initiatives locally, Asiola supports Thai-based ideas that drive creative campaigns through the arts, community causes, events and entrepreneurial-driven initiatives. The platform was launched in December of 2015 and has seen the highest success rates (>50%) of funded campaigns locally (as comparison, Kickstarter and Indiegogo hover around 35% range, and 20% for local crowdfunding platforms) with target funding goals ranging from 100k to 2M baht.
Asiola is focused on a reward-driven crowdfunding model, but will be expanding its offering with an equity-driven model in 2H 2016. The founding team includes tech entrepreneurs CEO Jon Lor and CTO Chris Hwang, former MD of Warner Music UK Sanji Tandan, artists Khanngoen Nuanual, Montonn Jira and socially-responsible entrepreneur Pranitan Phornprapha.
