APGP (Association of Project Management Professionals) has as its main objective to develop, promote and foster the profession of Project Management and related activities.
In the same way, they are aims of this association:
- Establish professionalization in Project Management, through the application of professional standards, recognition of certification of Project Managers and a code of ethics for the exercise of the profession.
- Become a recognized forum for the free exchange of knowledge and to provide a guiding influence on Project Management, as well as to develop solutions for its practical implementation in all sectors.
- Define and disseminate the fundamentals of Project Management, as well as the development of a body of knowledge and a centre of experiences, which will allow any type of project to be managed successfully.
- Collaborate with universities and other institutions to support adequate training in Project Management.
-Cultivate contacts with other organizations related to Project Management, at all levels, in companies or organizations, public or private, national or international, in order to promote cooperation in areas of common interest.
