Assarmatori rappresenta gli armatori italiani, dell’Unione Europea e dei Paesi terzi che operano in Italia servizi marittimi regolari di linea. L’Associazione è dunque in grado di rappresentare gli interessi armatoriali di chi lavora nel Paese estendendo questa tutela anche alle imprese non italiane che operano una parte significativa dei servizi marittimi. La sede principale è a Roma, in via del Babuino, ma l’Associazione vanta anche un ufficio a Genova e un ufficio europeo a Bruxelles, dedicato a monitorare e seguire le attività della Commissione, del Consiglio e del Parlamento sui temi che interessano il trasporto marittimo di merci e persone.
Le nostre imprese armatoriali sono anche protagoniste nella filiera del trasporto che passa per i porti per giungere a destinazione via terra o per ferrovia. Aderiscono all’Associazione, come Soci aggregati, anche altre imprese non armatoriali, enti e istituzioni che si muovono comunque nel perimetro del sistema marittimo, perché l’obbiettivo di Assarmatori è proprio la valorizzazione e lo sviluppo dell’intero settore del trasporto marittimo e intermodale.

Assarmatori is the Italian shipowners’ association with its headquarters in Rome, Italy, an office in Genoa and an EU office in Brussels, Belgium. Members include both national and international shipowners and ship operators who operate within the Italian maritime cluster. Assarmatori represents a large part of the merchant fleet registered in Italy and some of the major shipping operators who maintain regular shipping services in Italy.
Our association deals with all technical, legal, environmental, safety and training, employment affairs and trade issues that impact on ships, port operations and logistics of cargo and passengers in general. We are constructively engaged in the formulation of industry’s positions and policy recommendations.
