L'association Calliopé est une Association loi 1901.
Ses objectifs sont :
* informer sur ce qu'est le métier de psychomotricien et le promouvoir dans ses différents champs d'exercice,
* encourager la recherche en psychomotricité,
* encourager le développement du métier de psychomotricien,
* rassembler et faire remonter les difficultés de terrain des psychomotriciens qu'ils soient ou non en exercice,
* pouvoir défendre les intérêts du métier de psychomotricien (auprès des instances ministérielles, des ARS, des MDPH, etc) et des professionnels exerçant le métier de psychomotricien,
* créer et donner des outils spécifiques aux adhérents (psychomotriciens et étudiants en psychomotricité),
* créer et maintenir un lien avec les différents partenaires extérieurs (associations de professionnels et étudiants en psychomotricité, partenaires médicaux, paramédicaux, associations de patients, instances ministérielles, instituts de formations, éditeurs de tests ou de jeux),
* créer et maintenir des liens avec la presse afin de promouvoir et défendre le métier de psychomotricien
