Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra company information, Employees & Contact Information

The ACSO is dedicated to enriching the greater Atlanta community through the transformative power of music, offering service opportunities for its volunteer members. By collaborating with partners across the Atlanta metro area and providing innovative programming and free concerts, the ACSO fosters accessibility and engagement with the arts. Founded in 1958, the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra comprises over 60 musicians who share a passion for bringing live music to diverse audiences. Many members also perform with other musical organizations and teach music, reflecting their deep commitment to the art form. Over its 67-year history, the orchestra has provided free concerts throughout the Greater-Atlanta area and partnered with numerous non-profits to highlight community causes and services. Led by Artistic Director Robert Trocina, the orchestra performs most of its concerts at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, located near the Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown. In addition to orchestral performances, the ACSO offers chamber music programs, annual youth initiatives exploring the intersection of classical music and art, and a concerto competition that allows young musicians to perform as soloists with a full symphony orchestra.
