Atomenergomash Group Overview

Atomenergomash Group of Companies (AEM Group, AEM) is a machines construction division of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation. The company manufactures main equipment for nuclear and thermal power plants, shipbuilding, gas and petrochemical industries. It comprises 20 power machine building enterprises, including engineering, manufacturing and construction and mounting organizations. Many of these organizations are the designers and manufacturers of equipment installed on all nuclear power plants built in the former Soviet Union, as well as on a number of foreign nuclear power plants (in Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, East Germany and Finland with VVER-440 and VVER-1000 reactor designs). The production facilities of the company are located in Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Hungary. Today the holding company offers its customers comprehensive solutions, which include development of design documentation, production of equipment, installation and service maintenance. In the nuclear power industry, AEM aims to be a comprehensive supplier of main components for nuclear power plants - nuclear islands and machine rooms (in partnership with ALSTOM Company, one of the world's largest manufacturers of power plant equipment). The equipment of the Division is installed in more than 20 countries, providing for the operation of 13% of the nuclear power plants in the world, and of 40% of the thermal power plants in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic States. In 2013, Atomenergomash JSC held 20% of the domestic power machine building market, once again showing leadership results in terms of revenue in this market. The number of holding employees is around 20 000 people.
