American Universities' China Association (AUCA) Overview

The American Universities’ China Association (AUCA) is an association of professionals representing international higher education institutions in China. Founded in 2014 by three American university representatives, AUCA members are professionals working for international higher education institutions in China. The association is dedicated to promoting educational, academic, and cultural exchanges and partnerships between international higher education institutions and Chinese universities. AUCA encourages networking among professionals, convenes conferences and collaborative dialogues, and promotes research and knowledge creation to strengthen and serve the field. We lead the way in advocating for a better world through international education. The governing body is composed of the AUCA Steering Committee, with four working committees underneath it: Academic Partnerships Committee, Student Recruitment Committee, Alumni Engagement Committee and Student Career Services Committee. AUCA hosts two conferences every year for its members to discuss focuses and trends in international education. Meanwhile, AUCA members also jointly organize career fairs, career development forums, and alumni saloons every year for returnee graduates and alumni.
