Austin Oculofacial Plastics and now Austin Face and Body was founded by Dr. Sean Paul with the goal to provide outstanding care to the Austin area in the practice of eyelid and facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Paul grew up in south Texas. He was accepted into the highly prestigious Business Honors Program and was named Student of the Year by the Cactus Yearbook and awarded the Outstanding Business Student of the Year of Award during his time at The University of Texas at Austin. He stayed in Texas for medical school, where he served as Class President at The University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. Next, he was accepted to the highly regarded Dean McGee Eye Institute for ophthalmology residency. After residency, Dr. Paul was chosen from a highly competitive field of applicants to train for two years as an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) Fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Gerald Harris, world renowned Orbital and Oculofacial surgeon and past editor of Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, at the prestigious Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He pursued elective training in cosmetic surgery of the eyelids and face in Miami, Beverly Hills, and the greater Chicago area and is thrilled to return home to Austin, Texas.
Dr. Paul is a board certified physician and surgeon by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) and a candidate member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Dr. Paul specializes in eyelid and facial plastic (cosmetic and reconstructive) surgery. He uses a blended approach of non-surgical treatments and surgery, including minimal incision techniques, to provide the best patient care. Dr. Paul has authored numerous scientific articles and has been invited to speak at many national and international meetings including Lake Como, Italy and Sydney, Australia. He has returned home to Texas and founded Austin Oculofacial Plastics in Austin, Texas.
