Australian Dairy Conference

Australian Dairy Conference company information, Employees & Contact Information

The Australian Dairy Conference was initiated by a group of leading dairy farmers, scientists and industry representatives from around Australia. The group identified that the industry needed an independent national dairy conference to stretch and stimulate farmers and encourage them to make positive changes to their dairy businesses. The Australian Dairy Conference is an event for farmers by farmers with the aim to be the premier dairy event that inspires the industry, giving it pride in its achievements and generating optimism in its future. The current Board of ADC consists of eight farmers elected by the delegate members for 2 year terms at the AGM during each conference, a Scientific Director, an industry representative and a Director nominated by Dairy Australia. The Directors bear ultimate responsibility for the conduct of ADC and must formally sign off on final Conference budgets and the program. The ADC is a “not for profit” Company where those involved give freely of their time and skills. Conferences are held in February of each year at a different location around Australia and have been highly successful in bringing together the leading thinkers and innovators from around the globe and domestically.
