Autisme Montréal est un organisme à but non lucratif qui cherche à améliorer les conditions de vie des personnes présentant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme (TSA) ainsi que celles de tous les membres de leur famille.
As part of its mission, Autism Montreal is called upon to intervene both at the social level and with individuals directly affected by autism. Through its numerous initiatives, it strives, among other things, to raise awareness throughout the population about various issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the diversity of these individuals. The organization aims to contribute to research and the development of skills in this field, as well as to support actions undertaken to ensure the defense of individual and collective rights.
In order to tangibly contribute to the well-being of its members, Autism Montreal also provides them with a wide range of services and activities. Whether it's moral support, mutual aid, respite, recreational activities, or any other form of assistance, the organization endeavors to respond as effectively as possible to expressed needs. Its goal is to improve their quality of life, increase their autonomy and agency, and promote their integration into society.
Operating in the greater Montreal area since 1981, the organization brings together individuals with ASD and their families, professionals, students, as well as numerous individuals or organizations interested in the cause of autism.
