Automated Merchandising Systems (AMS) headquartered in Kearneysville, WV, was founded in 1997 and in 2022 is celebrating it’s 25-year anniversary. AMS was founded by industry icon, the late Roy Steeley. In 2000 a second plant was added in Guadalajara Mexico which serves the Mexican and South American Markets.
In 1997 The AMS Corporation changed the vending world with the introduction of the guaranteed delivery system which AMS describes as “SENSIT” technology. Sensit is light beam technology that guarantees a customer receives their product or the choice to choose another product or receive a refund.
To this day AMS continues our history of innovation constantly introducing new products to the industry that make our customers business’ more profitable and time efficient. AMS has built a reputation for building quality dependable vending machines that are built to last.
Automated Merchandising Systems is now owned by the AMS Group, Inc. A minority- owned company, which is led by a 40+ years of experience team of vending and manufacturing executives.
