First created in 2014, Avenew Network is a social and educational oriented venture; aims into highlighting and strengthening youth’s abilities in the fields of management, entrepreneurship, and social involvement. We aspire to lead the change that will make the world a better place. Our Vision Statement We see a community where: 1. Youth feel empowered. 2. Youth become agents of change. 3. Youth lead community development. Our commitments are: To create an open platform full of opportunity and potential for youth, and offer them a space where they can be productive and active. Our Values: 1. Compassion - We care for all the youth to help pursue positive choices and opportunities to thrive. 2. Impact - We better the lives of youth and friends of our network by providing positive, inspiring programs that make a difference, now and in the future. 3. Diversity - We embrace the differences of every youth and community we serve. 4. Perseverance - We commit to building the capabilities of all youth, regardless of circumstance, to overcome challenges and achieve success. 5. Collaboration - We rely on our staff, communities, supporters, funders and partner agencies to help empower the success of our youth. Where does our name come from? A•V•E•New Art_ Express and apply the creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form, to take an advantage from those talents to create a value. Volunteer_ Take the action and make a difference; even when the outcome is not guaranteed. Entertain_ Give the consideration to( an idea, suggestion, or feeling), and provide an advantageous amusement in our community. New_ A fresh start of a group of individuals who found the line to connect with each other for the sake of a greater whole.
