ACA’s patented Airborne Unit, which is certified for aircraft installation by FAA Supplemental Type Certification (STC), provides constant decontamination of the aircraft interior, keeping passengers and crew protected throughout the flight. In March 2020, ACA partnered with International Aero Engineering (IAE) to offer its Ionization Purification System as a Portable Ground Unit. The unit utilizes the same tested, proven technology as ACA’s patented airborne system to effectively clean and purify aircraft interiors while on the ground. The electric-powered ionization and air blower unit (110V or 220V) decontaminates the interior in one to two hours, depending on aircraft size.
