AVM Philippines is an online community and support group dedicated to persons with AVM, including survivors and those impacted by this condition in the country. Founded on April 6, 2014, our community has grown to more than 800 members, consisting of individuals with AVM, survivors, as well as their families and friends.
Our mission at AVM Philippines is to provide support and solidarity to those affected by this condition. We do this by sharing our own experiences, discussing the challenges we face, and educating one another. Through our collective efforts, we aim to raise awareness about AVM throughout the country, ensuring that it is no longer an unknown condition to many. Additionally, we hope that increased awareness will lead to improved access to medical intervention and reduced treatment costs, making treatments available in public hospitals.
Looking towards the future, AVM PH envisions itself as an established non-government organization that can offer comprehensive assistance, including financial support, to individuals with AVM nationwide.
