Awaaz Leadership Labs was founded in December 2022 with the objective of
democratising access to legal knowledge and justice ideas discourse in India.
Currently, Awaaz Leadership Labs enables law students and young legal professionals to drive ideas advancing social justice. We do this by activating legal aid societies in law schools, conducting experiential learning programs such as Soch Fellowship and Justice Innovation 101. Through these programmes, we identify young leaders and founders building innovative justice solutions.
We provide comprehensive support to these innovators and student-run groups through guidance in community outreach, volunteer mobilization, impactful storytelling, building legal aid networks, and sustainable fundraising strategies.
Our initiative has been supported by various organizations including Bar and Bench, Justice Adda, Lawctopus, Manupatra, Nyaaya, SCCOnline, and Youth Ki Awaaz.
