Welcome to AX7, which we hope will become your go-to source for all things related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). We’re dedicated to providing you with the latest news, tips, and experiments in the world of D365 F&O. Founded in January 2024, the blog was born out of our passion for D365 F&O. Our team is a small consortium of seasoned professionals with diverse skills spanning practice leadership, project management, implementation, support, and pre-sales, drawn from experience working at top-tier consultancy firms, system integrators, end user companies and Microsoft itself. We’ve come together to create a platform that serves as a hub for all D365 F&O professionals, whether you’re a consultant, partner, or end user. We've taken our name from the first cloud-native version of AX, which was briefly called AX7 (for about six months!) until it evolved into the D365 F&O we know and love today. The SaaS version of the product has come a long way since its launch in early 2016, but we chose the name AX7 because of its relevance to the product's history and the fact it is short, memorable, and easy to relay. Plus, it helped that the domain name was available, which is extremely rare for a three-letter TLD!
