BAB Consult Belgium is a consultancy office specialised in supporting companies wishing to initiate or develop their export activities, with a particular focus on the Arab markets.
Our expertise is based on 25 years of experience in this field. Indeed, the founder spent 25 years of his career as an Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Belgian Embassy, including 19 years in Kuwait (accredited in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar with extended competence on the whole GCC countries), and 6 years in the United Kingdom. He has previously worked at the Arab-Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
This experience enabled us to know deeply the Belgian economic ecosystem, with its export potential, but also the weaknesses and difficulties that our SMEs encounter when they approach these specific markets.
Our office intends to let the Belgian SMEs benefit from this expertise by offering them the following services:
1- Assessment of the current situation: methodological analysis based on the company and its products and services
2- Proposal of a roadmap including preparation (communication tools, packaging, labeling, certifications, compliance, etc.), exploration of existing markets and competition, and definition of the targeted markets
