Backward Flag Brewing Co. is a craft brewery located in Forked River, NJ owned by U.S. Army Veteran, Torie Fisher. Backward Flag was founded in 2015 and is one of few Female-owned, Veteran-brewed craft breweries in the country. Our motto is, "Cheers to us, and those like us!" celebrating our community of veterans of military, police, fire and rescue. Backward Flag is a proud member of the New Jersey Craft Beer Association, and serves beyond the Tri-State area. Backward Flag is also a proud supporter and facilitator of Arms 2 Artisans, a non-profit dedicated to fostering the successful transition of Post 9/11 Veterans from military service to post service life through an artisan skills program by providing education, experience and a network of peer support.
