Bagotsi Maize Meal was founded in 2021 by two phenomenal entrepreneurs determined to transform the maize meal industry. Ellen Mohapi and Sizwe Phiri’s aim was to bridge the gap between quality and price by creating superior but affordable maize meal for every pap-loving household. Bagotsi comes in 5kg and 12.5kg bags. While Bagotsi intends to establish itself in local markets in the short term, its long-term goal is to set up solid distribution channels to ensure its recognition as a leading maize meal brand across Africa.
