The Basque Artificial Intelligence Center (BAIC) emerges as a center that aims to lead the development of AI in the Basque Country to improve business competitiveness and the welfare of Basque society.
Our 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 is clear: to increase Basque competitiveness by accelerating the development and implementation of AI in an ethical, collaborative and sovereign way; with the 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 of positioning the Basque Country as an international benchmark by applying AI to boost innovation and industrial and territorial competitiveness.
● 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲? The implementation of BAIC has been driven by a promoter group that brings together different types of organizations: large companies, startups, ICT providers, knowledge agents and the Basque Government. Creating an ecosystem for shared dialogue that allows us to tackle one of the greatest technological and social challenges in our history.
