Balance Management – Our Story
We’re Donna and Richard McAlpine, and we own Balance Management. We both grew up in BC and moved to Winnipeg nearly 8 years ago. Originally we thought we'd give it 2 years and move on if we didn’t like it. Turns out we’re happy here. We lived in BC, Alberta, and Brisbane, Australia in the years prior and we have never felt more at home than we do in Winnipeg.
We love this city and want to be part of its future. We see the challenges and social issues Winnipeg faces and we want to do our part to help everyone thrive.
65 Dewdney Avenue is our first big project. We turned a sad, empty building into a warm and inviting co-work space. Our goal is to create a community within its walls and in doing so, help the surrounding Point Douglas community flourish.
We're looking for like-minded entrepreneurs and small businesses who can embrace a little grit. We've got 21 furnished, private offices available and everything is included for one monthly fee.
