The establishment of the Bam Automobile Manufacturers Company in the special economic zone of New Citadel and the transformation of this area into the industrial hub of automobile production in the country have exhibited works beyond the expected limit in the southeastern region of the country. Khodrosazan Bam is the first private sector in the country that has started a joint cooperation with a world-renowned automobile company. Bam Automobile Factory was built in 2002 on a land with an area of 2089,775 square meters with an annual production capacity of 120,000 cars in the first phase.The area of the body hall of this factory is 35,000 square meters, the body building feeding area is 270,000 square meters, the paint hall is 48,000 square meters, the decoration hall is 35,000 square meters, and the decoration feeding hall is 270,000 square meters. The annual production capacity of this factory will increase to 400,000 cars in phase 2.
