Barracloughs the Opticians are an award-winning independent group with seven stores across East Sussex who have been caring for eyes for over 65 years - we fully understand that quality and service really do matter, today more than ever. Established in 1957 by Frank Barraclough in Norman Road, St. Leonards and later joined by Peter Stiles, we quickly gained a reputation founded on expertise combined with a kind and helpful manner. It's always been our primary goal to put the customer first. Never shall we treat any customer as merely a number and rush them out the door - they'll receive the time they deserve at every visit to Barracloughs, and service to be remembered. Vision matters and we're here to ensure our customer's eye health remains the best it can be. With time comes experience, but keeping our practices modern and up-to-date and investing in the latest technology and equipment such as OCT and Optomap has all helped in reaching the 65 year milestone. However, a significant contribution has been made by the people working in the company and a large proportion of our staff have been with us for many, many years enabling them to build excellent relationships with our clients.
