The Baruch Actuarial Science Society (BASS) is a professional student organization committed to assisting those who are interested in pursuing a career as an actuary with academic and professional resources.
BASS is dedicated to developing students professionally by educating them about the actuarial career, providing guidance for passing exams and creating resumes, as well as giving advice for job and internship opportunities. The workshops we deliver equip our members with helpful information for both career development and technical skills. In addition to our workshops, we also invite professionals from various actuarial experiences for information panels and networking opportunities.
We strive to educate our members with the best way to prepare for an actuarial career, help them connect with professionals and plan their time efficiently in their undergraduate years.
Our weekly meetings will be held in NVC 11-140 unless stated otherwise.
