The Notre-Dame Basilica of Montréal is the first Neo-Gothic Church in Canada. Its history is intrinsically linked to the foundation of the city of Montréal.

Since March 2017, The AURA experience, produced by Moment Factory, is a spectacular light show highlighting the Basilica's astounding 17th century architecture using 21st century technology, making it a one of kind immersive experience.
The Basilica is managed by the non-profit organization La Fabrique de la Paroisse Notre-Dame de Montréal, which also includes the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. The Fabrique offers a complete range of competitive benefits to its 150-250 employees.
