Basketball Manawatū a volunteer led Non-Profit Organisation that is solidly Community based, with the directive to foster and maintain all amateur Basketball within the Manawatū Region. Our members also fully support our local Semi-professional Basketball Team, The Manawatū Jets, by helping with voluntary work at home games, as part of our greater Basketball Community family support. We are a regional association affiliated to Basketball New Zealand. We promote healthy living, lifestyles & positive leadership reinforcement. Our core pillars include: Mana, Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Comradery and Courage. We expect it from the Under 5’s age grade through to our Elite grades, to promote balance, fun, fair play, and respect for game officials, opposition, supporters, fellow team members and spectators.
