BCD Resources NL is a metals producer and has a processing facility situated at Beaconsfield in Tasmania. The Company is focused on the development and evaluation of the economics of treating gold deposits and investigating longer term utilization of the Beaconsfield processing facility, including processing of ore from future projects. Its projects include Stormont, Lorena and Middle Arm Tailings. The Stormont deposit is a skarn-style gold-silver-bismuth deposit located in northern Tasmania, over 40 kilometers south of Devonport and approximately 130 kilometers by road to Beaconsfield. The Stormont deposit is a shallow, keel-shaped deposit, with mineralization commencing at surface and extending to over 40 meters depth. The Lorena Gold Project is located over 15 kilometers east of Cloncurry in northwest Queensland. The Company and Malachite Resources Ltd (MAR) have entered into joint venture agreements (Joint Venture) for the development of the Lorena Gold Mine (Lorena).
