BCDF is a not-for-profit social enterprise that specialises in providing small businesses with access to the finance they need to grow, and helping aspiring founders to learn about enterprise, explore self employment, and launch their ventures.
Access to suitable finance solutions is critical to the success of any business, however, obtaining this is often listed as the biggest challenge business owners face, which can be a significant barrier to business growth. With the support of our lending partners, we provide affordable finance solutions and help to remove this barrier.
Through our Complete Business Start Up Programme, we deliver a full suite of start up training and support to first time business owners that runs throughout the year. We work with partners to cater to a variety of learning styles, providing onlines courses, interactive workshops and intensive one to one mentoring to aspiring founders through out the UK.
The 'CD' in our name stands for 'Community Development'. As a not-for-profit social enterprise, we want to make careers in enterprise more accessible to communities that are often excluded or underrepresented in business.
