Think of BEAM Devs as a tech network for developers using the BEAM through Elixir, Erlang, Gleam, and any other programming languages that adopt the BEAM VM. BEAM Devs aims to be the go-to place for everything BEAM related. The BEAM Devs network will be a hub for developers and companies using the BEAM. Both will be able to showcase their use of the BEAM, share their experiences, and provide resources to learn and make the best of it. The main goal of BEAM Devs is that if it is BEAM related, you should be able to find it in the BEAM Devs Network, whether learning resources, projects, libraries, case studies, stories of using it in anger, hiring full-time or contract-based, and everything in between. On the BEAM Devs network, developers, recruiters, and companies will have their profiles defined in a structured way to make it easier to find a good match between developers, recruiters, and companies. We hope to reshape job hunting and hiring in the BEAM ecosystem. This approach will also enable both candidates and companies to specify filters to refine their search criteria, saving time for everyone involved by providing more relevant results for what they are looking for. Once BEAM Devs becomes profitable, 10% of the annual profits will be given back to the community by sponsoring open-source BEAM projects.
