Our Story
When people meet serendipitously, in authenticity and when they have unconditional positive regard for one another, magic unfolds. This is where our story begins. Beit Insan is a translation of our deepest calling- to get back to our essence and a build a community that practices authentic being. We want to do this because we are seeing changes in the world, in others and within ourselves and we wholeheartedly want to be part of this change. Beit Insan is a home for cultivating our core selves, and bringing ourselves fully and authentically into our families, workplaces, friendships, and the public sphere. We want to BE the change that we want to see in the world and thus are deeply committed to starting with ourselves.
Our Vision
We envision a way of living where different forms of wealth, such as knowledge, awareness, creativity, money, time, community, technology, culture, spiritual intelligence, physical strength, emotional and mental health serve the highest intentions and bring about authentic and sustainable personal well-being and community development. When we are able to bring these forms of wealth together, we can move in a way that liberates our individual and collective capacities, allowing for authentic living, sustainable peaceful and loving co-existence in Lebanon and the world. We are translating this vision in 4 ways: an Open Science and Co-Work lab, a Soulful Living & Therapy Space, a Community, and a Deep Ecology Retreat Center.
