As a key player in the development of the national resilience, Cyber Command has a key role within our country's cyber architecture. Through partnerships with the academic and industrial world and cooperation with other institutions and organisations, it ensures the exploitation of cyberspace for the benefit of the whole Nation, as well as the Belgian Defence and the Belgium’s General Intelligence & Security Service (SGRS/ADIV).
It drives innovation processes, develops new military capabilities and implements them on the physical, logical and virtual layers of cyber and electromagnetic space. In its role Cyber Command will be a reliable international partner, as well as a national reference in all Defence activities related to Cyberspace.
As a transversal command of the Belgian Defence, Cyber Command ensures the cybersecurity of all networks and weapon systems of Defence, collects information for the benefit of the SGRS/ADIV and or carries out operations in cyberspace. On a daily basis, it contributes to the country's cybersecurity in partnership with various national and international stakeholders.
