Our owner-run, family company operates under the umbrella of Bernd Hummel Holding. Bernd D. Hummel and his two daughters, Anne-Katrin and Julia C. Hummel, serve as managing directors. Our company headquarters are located in Neuffer am Park, a former shoe factory in the "shoe city" of Pirmasens in southwestern Rhineland-Palatinate.
As the largest licensee of the KangaROOS brand, we design, manufacture and distribute athletic shoes across Europe through Bernd Hummel GmbH. KangaROOS: The Original Shoes with Pockets!
With our flip*flop brand, we create and distribute easy-to-wear holiday, home and spa collections through flip*flop GmbH. The flip*flop ORIGINAL is a trendy classic and the heart of the brand.
We produce extremely high-quality sneakers at our shoe factory Hummel&Hummel in Münchweiler, near Pirmasens. Every step is Made in Germany.
In addition to shoe manufacturing, we are involved in renovating and revitalizing historic buildings. Two former shoe factories in Pirmasens, Neuffer am Park and what was once the Salamander shoe factory, today P-Town-Lofts, as well as the Weisse Kaserne in Zweibrücken, have been given new life by Bernd Hummel Immobilienprojekte GmbH.
