Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
The Best Buddies New Jersey state office was founded in 2018. To date, Best Buddies School Friendship Programs are represented in 15 Elementary School, Middle School, High School and Colleges.
Best Buddies New Jersey also offers our supported employment program, known as Best Buddies Jobs. Launching in 2018 with the support of amazing corporate partners and individuals we have helped 7 individuals with IDD secure integrated and competitive employment.
As a result of their involvement with Best Buddies, people with IDD secure rewarding jobs, live on their own, become inspirational leaders, and make lifelong friendships.
