Better Live Music Overview

Better Live is a Europe Creative funded cooperation project between eleven European partners involved in the jazz and improvised music scene. From 2023 to 2026, Better Live will be studying and producing new models of live music events towards a more sustainable circulation. Support and increase the circulation of artists in Europe while lowering the environmental impact of live music events are at the forefront of our actions. The ambitious 4-years’ initiative Better Live involves organizers from nine European regions. It starts with a comprehensive transition in the jazz and improvised live music sector, characterized by its flexibility, adaptability, and independence. Subsequently, the project expands its scope to encompass the global music sector. By hosting over 300 artistic events, conducting 30 training sessions, and academic research, Better Live aims to foster a just, ecological, and inclusive transformation.
