Bhārat Model United Nations is India's largest ever MUN led by the most experienced team of seasoned MUN delegates. Our Mission is to advance understanding of the United Nations and contemporary global issues by providing high-quality educational programs that emphasise collaboration and cooperative conflict resolution, as well as preparing participants for active global citizenship. We envision a world filled with civically engaged people working for peaceful, multilateral conflict resolution and equitable, sustainable human development. Cooperative, hands-on, experiential learning allows students to confront a range of topics with the perspective of their assigned country or organization. Through these experiences - during preparation, committee sessions, and hallway caucuses - students develop an appreciation of differing viewpoints, experience the challenges of negotiation, see the rewards of cooperation, broaden their world view, and discover the human side of international relations and diplomacy. Model United Nations enables delegates to apply their theoretical knowledge of international relations and the United Nations system in a practical, hands-on setting. Students will gain transferable skills such as leadership, negotiation, collaboration, public speaking, research, and technical writing by preparing for and participating in Bharat MUN; advance a responsibility to be actively involved in global issues; and improve their understanding of the structure of the international system and the challenges of global diplomacy.
