Bibliothèque D'Archéologie Et Des Sciences De L'Antiquité company information, Employees & Contact Information

Specializing in prehistory and protohistory, archaeology and the sciences of the ancient and medieval world up to the year 1000, the library was created in 1997 by bringing together the holdings of several teams from the CNRS, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris Nanterre universities. The library is a member of the Frantiq national network and the Archéologie en Ile-de-France network. As part of Frantiq, it was awarded the "Collection d'excellence" label by the GIS CollEx-Persée in 2017. This scheme aims to promote and facilitate researchers' access to collections of excellence held by major scientific libraries. It participates in the Plan de Conservation Partagé (PCP) for Antiquity periodicals. The themes concerned are archaeology in France, ancient Egypt, Assyriology and oriental archaeology. Since 2020, we have been a partner of Mir@bel, a website that facilitates access to scientific journals and all their resources available on the Internet - from summary to full text, free or by subscription, as well as to its editorial policy.
