Vanaf 1 januari 2015 worden de taken van Stichting Bibliotheek.nl op grond van de nieuwe Bibliotheekwet (Wsob) geïntegreerd in de dienstverlening van de Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB). De ambitie van de integratie is meer samenhang, kwaliteit en efficiency in het stelsel van openbare bibliotheken.De diensten en dienstverlening van Stichting Bibliotheek.nl worden vanaf januari 2015 onder de naam KB geleverd.
