I'm Jennifer Bicknell, Principal of Bicknell Law & Consulting.
I’ve been a lawyer for over 25 years, and I love it. I specialise in workplace law and managing reputation risks, I was lucky enough to spend 15 years at Minter Ellison and 8 years as a partner at Kennedys, then founded my law firm and dispute prevention advisory business, Bicknell Law & Consulting, in 2015.
Whilst I have a lot of experience in dispute resolution, my real passion is dispute prevention and helping managers prevent small workplace issues becoming big, hairy ones. How do I do this? By providing my clients with one-on-one coaching sessions, workshops for entire teams and my soon to be launched....Difficult Conversations in the Workplace online course.
I help businesses resolve all types of workplace law issues, as well as helping business owners, managers and teams understand and develop the skills to avoid workplace disputes in the first place.
My workplace law services include providing practical support regarding workplace matters including performance management and termination of employment, discrimination, bullying and harassment claims, insurance issues, contract drafting and review, and many more workplace law issues.
But most of all, I love helping people prevent problems so they can spend less time with lawyers and focus on running their business. To this end I can help your business to prevent workplace problems with:
