Big Bear Events have been hosting award winning events since 2017 across the Midlands, UK.
We've taken a different approach to a traditional running race and prefer to host more community focussed events focussing on individual success's rather than comparisons against elites. Not everyone wants to run until their blue in the face every time! Why not come along, run in the woods, see how it goes and enjoy yourself - regardless of your pace!
Although we offer many different event's, 10k to 50 mile, our most common event is a 6 hour challenge event during the week. These are a little different to normal but offer great flexibility. The concept is simple, you run as many 5k laps as you wish in the time limit. Sounds simple and a little boring
but it isn't!! Ask any of the hundreds of people who have left us 5* reviews over the years!
Being midweek offers those who work in retail, blue-light services, shift work or who have flexibility to be in forests and parks that are nearly empty - bliss! Not everyone is free on a Sunday morning after all.
